Tracking Tennessee on Johns Hopkins dashboard; how are they doing today- at this point in the pandemic’s course? Yesterday they had 3067 confirmed cases and 41 deaths. If you divide [deaths]/[cases] that ratio is today 1.34 and worsening. That actually is better than most states.
Kentucky next door, for example, yesterday had only 831 confirmed cases but 37 of them are dead. The [deaths/[cases] ratio for Kentucky is 4.45. Why the difference?
The pandemic is kicking the Kentucky ICU’s ass 4 times worse than it is for Tennessee. Whoever runs the show there – has some goddam explaining to do.
What else would you expect in a state where they elected that filthy McConnell swine to the U.S. Senate?
