“Finding out that this virus is now transmitting before people see signs, so what we’ve been telling people from directives from the CDC for weeks now that if you start feeling bad, stay home … those individuals could’ve been infecting people before they ever felt bad, but we didn’t know that until the last 24 hours. And as [Georgia Department of Public Health Commissioner Dr. Kathleen Toomey] told me, this is a game changer for us.” — Brian Kemp, Governor of Georgia
Tracking Tennessee on Johns Hopkins dashboard; how are they doing today- at this point in the pandemic’s course? Yesterday they had 3067 confirmed cases and 41 deaths. If you divide [deaths]/[cases] that ratio is today 1.34 and worsening. That actually is better than most states.
Kentucky next door, for example, yesterday had only 831 confirmed cases but 37 of them are dead. The [deaths/[cases] ratio for Kentucky is 4.45. Why the difference?
The pandemic is kicking the Kentucky ICU’s ass 4 times worse than it is for Tennessee. Whoever runs the show there – has some goddam explaining to do.
What else would you expect in a state where they elected that filthy McConnell swine to the U.S. Senate?
All day long while I’m working I hear and see people thinking to themselves “It can’t happen to me” and I’m thinking “Why the hell not? You are not doing what scientists and doctors tell you and you’re only coming barely close to even what the government suggests.” If I had money I’d invest in companies making coffins. It seems that no state is getting the idea across or the support that it needs. It ain’t gonna be over by Easter and it’s lookin’ to me like probably not by the 4th of July. People and governments are far too stupid about this.
Let’s see Florida, Tennessee, Kentucky, Alabama, Georgia, South Carolina, who have I missed in that block of southern states? All deniers of the Covid 19 virus and its damage. I wonder why. There has to be a reasonable answer somewhere in all of this.

doesn’t look like he’s into it, does he? Almost like he is being forced into the crusade for Tennessee.
