You can dye anything you like in the comics.

I think the financial side is more of an issue than the quality or quantity of the art. The methods and likelihood of making a living from producing comics keep changing.

And my heart is sad when some of my favorites come to an end.

…Teresa is killing it on this one…

…others are to die for…

… I thought that Savoir Faire was everywhere…

…yes…but reruns don’t count…

…Retail bit the dust…

…so did Pajama Diaries…

…but Frog is more popular then since Mose’s second plague…

…crickets chirping…

…frogs applauding…

…birds diving down on hats…

…if the foo fits (sic) wear it…

…how come no one puts tinsels on trees anymore?…

Comics are a staple with me! And another thing, don’t go pooping on my hat ya dumb bird……Er……too late……and I just bought it……

With a touch-enabled tablet in every hand, pretending to be a phone, more people find time to take up an interest in art and exercise their wit, such as it may be. Millions more people trying can be hundreds of fairly successful web comics.

True! All of life now is a celebrity roast, where all the comics actually hate the roastee. It’s more a reflection of the weaknesses and shortcomings of those attempting to be comical.

Present company obviously excepted: Teresa and her devoted minions.

I don’t know how it came about but here’s our old friend from the past, Joe-Allen (who “LOVED” FA, so much!!!):

Ask for a raise in pay.

Says the lady from the 1930’s, that Blondie is something, “Boop-Oop-a-Doop.”

But I wanna tell ya … Everyone’s a comedian … There once was a lady from Dallas … And THAT’s the truth … Pffft …!

 

Snarky comments aside, the art is primo today.

A bird on a hat is worth two, something, something…

That is a fine looking Lady of Fashion (with apologies to The Teenie Weenies)!

But I am not sure whether her fine chapeau is decorated with a talkative blackbird, or if an ominous Blackbird (albeit not an SR-71) is swooping around her head!

Either way, I wish her well….

Here a comic, there a comic, everywhere a…. oh geez, who’s gonna clean up that mess?
