SPent part of my day reminding these guys about their oath. Probably did no good. At least I did my duty.

I dunno, I hope Roberts isn’t one of those sitting in that group. I won’t hold my breath. Moscow Mitch is likely to tell him to sit down, shut up, and not speak unless asked to by a Republican defender. He must know his place.

This is where the truth is not the truth, where there is no honor nor dignity, where duty to the party is more important than to the nation. Just like in the 30’s. In Deutschland.

Just you watch. Even if the Senate somehow convicts Ol’ Punkinhead (assuming that there is an ineluctable avalanche of damning evidence against him in the wings on the verge of release), and then removes him, he will run and be re-elected in November. You saw it here first. (Nothing in Article II disqualifies a convicted felon — or an impeached and convicted President — from running for office as long as he meets the nativity, age, and, possibly, previous tenure in office limitation, requirements.)

Putting the orange buffoon before country (or honesty, or rule of law, or integrity, etc. ) is clearly what the republicans intend to do. What an embarrassment they all are to the history of our nation and the legacy of Lincoln!

He sure done Susan Collins right with that big fat nose and mouth shut to all the evil done by Trump and the GOP. Soon she’ll make some mealy mouth comment from that lying mouth. How do I loathe thee let me count the ways.

How this trial is conducted will go far in determining the future character of the U.S. Rule of law or rule of cult?

They should be removed from office, just as #45 should be. They have shamelessly betrayed their oaths, their constituents, and their country.

On the bright side, this could be the establishment of the monarchy and the house of tiny. Think o0f the infighting among his children and possible deaths when secession rears its ugly head (when he i on his death bed). Just say’n.

Republicans are beginning to defect from the vicious lying Trump insanity.

It only takes four Republicans to make the USA honest again.

Hopefully these Lev Parnas revelations are going to turn the tide.

Susan Collins refuses to look at the evidence, she is worthless.

Luckovich got all the white faces in the defendant’s box right but could’ve used a wider variety of skin tones in the jury box.

Republicans in the House have proved their loyalty to tRump over any loyalty to the U.S. or their oath to support and defend the U.S. Constitution. Now we’ll see how many Republican Senators will betray the U.S. for tRump and McConnell.

As events unfold in the weeks ahead, I suspect it’s more likely that Mitch’s senate caucus will be putting the Democrats on trial, and the charges being that they put their constitutional duty before Trump, which, in the Republicans’ view, is the highest crime imaginable.

Roberts said being a fair judge is like calling balls and strikes. Lets see if he has the “balls” to call a fair trial.
