“Walter Shaub, the former head of the U.S. Office of Government Ethics, on Tuesday called William Barr a ‘threat to democracy’ as he warned how the attorney general may try to interfere in the 2020 presidential election to the benefit of President Donald Trump.

“In a lengthy Twitter thread, Shaub accused Barr of misleading the public after he rejected the Justice Department’s inspector general report that found the FBI was not politically motivated in launching a probe into the Trump 2016 campaign’s links to Russia. Barr is overseeing a separate investigation into the start of the probe, being conducted by attorney John Durham.

“’It’s important not to make the same mistake twice,’ wrote Shaub. ‘Some people underestimated Barr’s ruthless partisanship before. No one should do that again. Like Trump, Barr is capable of doing anything he can get away with—and that includes interfering in the 2020 election, if we let him.’”

And the image wasn’t even from “Infinity War,” back when “maybe Thanos was right” was briefly a thing with edgelords; they took it from “Endgame,” mere moments before (SPOILER ALERT) the Mad Titan got a taste of his own medicine, flopped down in utter defeat, and was then wiped from existence.

Somebody should explain to Bill Barr that the attorney general is supposed to be the nation’s top law enforcement officer, not the top partisan enabler.

What makes Barr so dangerous is the air of sanctimonious gravity that the brings to his seemingly bottomless dishonesty.

I am constantly amazed by the unending stream of sleaze Trump attracts. Now we have the 20-year-old communications director hired by Giuliani who started her career by lying, creating a false job resume and inflating (i.e., lying about) her personal history. WHERE DO THEY FIND THESE PEOPLE????
