It’s best that the message wasn’t “received”. There are greedy people on earth who would try to monetize the Aliens’ generous offers.

Even if I were the type of person to be entertained by cat videos, I wouldn’t admit it publicly. I have seen only one animal video that totally captivates me, the dog getting a beer out of the fridge. Teach that dog how to make popcorn, and he would be my friend for life.

Who cares about all that other stuff as long as we have cat videos.

Even my telephone stores 100s of SMS messages… Doctor Mel’s fancy box of tricks should be able to store at least four, he can read back later…

Why are they getting messages on a Whack-a-Mole game?

Not just Brewster, anyone nowadays. I saw two security guards glued to their phones at the mall.

Not sure who takes the prize for being dumber than a fencepost: Brewster, for obvious reasons, or Doc Mel, for failing to use technology that monitors and records any transmissions.

It’s titled, “HOW TO SERVE HUMANITY”.

There should be something to indicate monitor activity. It should beep, ring a bell, or activate a killbot.

That’s alright. It was really a Berserker Trap.

OK, here’s my theory about good vs bad aliens. (1) The reason humans aren’t universally altruistic is because we are still basically tribal mammals motivated by fear, greed and sex. No judgment, just observation. We do have civilization and altruism but basically it’s just a thin layer of frosting over millions of years of simian biology. (2) Aliens who can travel through space have obviously evolved mentally and technologically far beyond us. They won’t be motivated by needing our water, oxygen, women, etc. If they need to expand to another earthlike planet due to theirs becoming uninhabitable or overcrowded there are billions of them out there. (3) They can probably understand human psychology far better than we ever could. So if for some strange reason they contact us, it would have to be out of altruism since there is absolutely nothing we can give them that they don’t already have. (4) Unless they just have an utterly malevolent sense of humor and just want to screw with us.

Brewster is just displaying the problem with Society today. We’re all so wrapped up in the crap on our phones that we can’t see the message of the Universe that we’re acting like a bunch of idiots.

And the alien communicate in perfect English.

Actually that says a lot more about us as a society than I realized
