That “scratching” post isn’t stable. Cats need to be able to put their weight into the exercise, and that one will fall over and they’ll find something massive enough to work against.
My first cat in my tiny townhouse had a full height single column model with a compression rod against the ceiling. When we added a few more cats later in a larger home we went for the biggest floor model we could find, four columns with platforms and cylinders.

I once left my tracker on a shelf overnight with one of those motorized white noise machines. By the next morning it had accumulated some ridiculous number of steps, giving me a bunch of achievement “medals” I couldn’t delete from the app, forever throwing off my stats. :@
