Survey says

A few days ago I spend 10 mins. in a survey. After finishing they answered “sorry, survey expired yesterday”. Now I just delete any e-mail survey.

Nothing like customer feedback to improve service?

Oh no! Another survey!! Decisions, decisions!

When you fill that one out you then get inundated with more ads etc. because they sold your information.

Ah, just kill me.

Surveys are attempts to show popularity of a product or service via stacked deck of questions. No matter which way one answers, one has become another listing in the digital directory used by scammers and info sellers.

Recently saw an offer to win a free 3-year lease on a car model. Sounds good, right?

However, the fine print, which is a contradiction in logic, stated, that by taking the survey, participants’ names, addresses, photos, digital info, etc would become the permanent property of the survey company and could be used for future solicitations, advertising, and other purposes.

Welcome to Hackerstown, USA, folks. You are suddenly going to gain that popularity you desired when you were younger.

Whenever I see “To better serve you” I delete.

At least they didn’t ask about his car warranty.

I might fill out more surveys if they didn’t have specific questions, just a chance to write about whatever I wanted.

“And for filling out the survey, you’ll get a certificate worth 10% off your next marauding!”

I’d check the fine print on that.

The pillaging was fine. They arrived on time and left us an inventory that was ever so helpful in filing our insurance claim. My wife, however, was dissatisfied with the ravaging. Said they smelled funny.

Consumer-oriented Huns.

That’s as bad as Amazon wanting you to review all the products you purchased…BOO HISS

Surveys are only of value if enough people fill them out. Like political polls, they can’t be reliable, if you don’t survey a large enough population with diverse views, the results will be one sided and of no predictive value.

I wonder what they do if you give them a low score. I mean really, how would you rate a c section or a colonoscopy.

I like to write in depth google maps reviews for places that have no reason to have reviews at all. “Parking garage: the entry bump was a little rough and there’s a sneaky pothole after it, but the rest of the journey up was fast and smooth.”

Reminds me of Eddie Izzard’s “cake or death?” routine. Tough decision.

I’d rather die than complete those stupid surveys. The way I see it if I’m not happy with their Service, I’ll complain. But that doesn’t even work as I’ve seen trying to get Google Maps to recognize a 911 address as the legal physical one when the Post Office won’t deliver.

I would rate the Pillage as 4 out of 5, but they forgot the Plundering so the overall experience was a 1.

Sounds like the best deal they will see all day.

When I get the email that says, “Last chance to fill out the survey”, I think, “Well that’s good, now I won’t hear about it anymore.”

A poll is just a chance to tell people who actually want to know what you think…. not completely unlike these comments.

Boy! this strip comes close to the review era now wherein everything transaction you do needs to be surveyed.

A survey? Just go ahead and kill me…
