I do the same on warm nights. So I can pull the duvet over me if the temperature drops, of course.

Dip the toe in perfume first. That way the monster says, I don’t want to smell like that."

I try to make sure I don’t dangle my feet over the side of the bed so that the monster under the bed doesn’t get me!

How does having a toe under the blanket prevent monsters and ghosts?

Sweet Trevor is still sheltering Beatrix under one ear! Even when he’s scared, what a good boy.

PSA: For all those who say their furbabies are scared of thunder – My mother’s Westie, Sophie, had become terrifed of thundestorms in her elder years. So upset she would tremble, pant and sometimes throw up despite my mother trying her best to comfort her. I sent her some CBD oil via amazon and the change has been amazing. She still stays by mom, but no more trembling, and she even dozed off during the last one! Lots of brands out there, but to find what I sent google: kinpur Organic Hemp Oil for Dogs & Cats – 5000mg. Got it to her prior to July 4 and it worked for the fireworks too.

I am certain that this is yet another strip that is in no way connected to Georgia’s real life. It is slightly possible that she knows a brave, adult woman who does this, but nothing more.

Thank goodness for blankets in a thunderstorm! And Elvis seems to have recovered nicely, I guess it has been quiet for a while. Even Pengy seems to be enjoying the story!

If anything can stave off doom (and precious little can) it’s a good blanket.

I just finished reading “Bono: The Amazing Story of a Rescue Cat Who Inspired a Community”by Helen Brown. He ended up at the Bideawee shelter after Hurricane Sandy. The man who worked at the shelter said they read to the feral kittens brought to the shelter to help them get adjusted to the human voice.

In the Big Pink House, a toe under the blanket might prevent monsters but it ain’t gonna do anything about the ghosts. But then, who wants to get rid of Tillie?

This story arc is not going to be done in a week, or even two. This arc is adding a new character the the Artist is being very careful with this awesome responsibility. I think it is great that we have an update from our Book Store Kitten and her pal.

P.S., A blanket fort has been proven to stave off monsters (Big, small or purple). It can cure colds. It can lower blood pressure and is a guaranteed as a non-narcotic anti-depressant.

Always read and follow all label instructions for your Blanket Fort: Wash on warm water and tumble dry.

*Flash lights, fun books, and/or snacks sold separately.

Morning all! First off, my latest pic is a close up of my rescue Ally, who made it past her 4 weeks of being an abandoned bottle baby! As for me, an update of my car whomp,, the owner of the car we have heard wasn’t the kids parents, it was a friend and the kid was doing a “drug delivery”. That owner has vamoosed and a warrant is out! I do need your warming purrs today, I am off to the cast clinic to check on progress and probably a new cast. Yes there is still pain in the surgery site, so they will be investigating that as well.

Yum Yum has had her daily cat fit; she was brought up short by the sight of a momma rabbit and three babies gently lolloping over the grass that was mown yesterday, occasionally stopping to nibble and nubble. Yes, Happy x 3, we had bunnies!

    Bratzilla: The Saga Continues…

Yes, there are mental health issues that predate the current crisis. J is the type that tends to mother everyone, & M tends to take advantage of that. Also, they both have major PTSD due to abuse in childhood, & from what I saw yesterday when I was over at their place, I’m sure that in addition to all the crises of the last couple of months (including the deaths of 2 other friends) they’ve triggered each other big time & are totally talking across each other (same goes for another good friend of ours).

Sigh. I just hope things ease up soon…& thank you one & all again for your support…

Georgia, you are killing me with suspense! I need another flash of the mysterious stranger just to know for sure she’s OK. I mean, I know the real life version has a very happy ending and you would never allow harm to come to her, but my inner Elvis is ready to POOF! I’m trying to channel my inner Tommy, but my fear of lightning is making that impossible.

At our house it’s the dog who is frightened by violent weather. The cat who owns us enjoys watching the fuss and furor through the windows. Moving things! Flying things! Give me more!

The kitties and I are enjoying a lovely break in the nasty hot weather, it only got up to around 73°F today and the low the next couple of nights will be in the mid-50s! Of course summer will return but hopefully temps will moderate back to “normal” hot and not “make me nauseous” hot. I would use the throwing up emoji but this site won’t accept it…

Just googled the difference between CBD oil and hemp. What I have is not CBD. I’ll have to check with the dispensary next door. I among others have been fooled thinking I had CBD.

My oldest son, J-L, does not drive so he either rides his bike or takes a bus most places. Today, on the way home from his shoulder therapy, he was on his bike and a distracted driver bumped him. He’s mostly okay but skinned both knees and had to put the chain back on his bike. The driver stopped to help him, made sure he was not injured enough to go to the hospital, apologized a million times, and was only going about 5 mph, if that. J-L, my Asperger son, neglected to get the guy’s name or insurance or any identification. I sure hope nothing shows up in the next few days.

Yes, I have now stressed to him that if he ever has an accident, he is to get ID and insurance whether he is hurt or not. Genius IQ and no common sense, that boy.
