I don’t know. I thought Dickie Smothers’ act as Dr. Yo was really great. I never got much past sleep, walk the dog, and on a really really good day around the world once.
I could solve a Rubics Cube in a out 3 minutes. I basically became a sideshow at school. Not sure how that translates here. There must be something though.
Is it a rumor that California leaders heard the story that Filipinos use them as weapons and are considering expelling all kindergartners who bring one to school? ’Just thinking, maybe the paint causes cancer in California.
Would you believe that yo-yo’s have their own fandom website? You can learn the history, including that the claim it was a weapon is false. https://yoyo.fandom.com/wiki/History_of_the_Yo-yo

I do recall someone of limited reasoning ability being called a “yo-yo”. There may be some correlation between that and public view of the practice.
