Puddles has some really sharp teeth to make a mess like that.

Based on experience, I would say that Puddles is part Scottish terrier.

Well look on the “bright side.” At the least the DeGroots don’t have a (Shudder) “cat.” ;)

Mom got conned, judging by all the stuffing. Tough dog toys are made of hard and thick rubber. A few look like the same construction and materials as a truck tire.

I could be wrong about this but i don’t think cats and dogs are acting like they are playing with toys, i hypothesize that cats and dogs think they have food or prey; and they’re trying to eat the food or rip the prey apart.

Poor Puddles – he has been relegated to the “Messy room Sundays” like Luann. I guess he just wanted to be just like her. You have to admit, the living room does bear a messy resemblance to Luann’s room on Sundays.

Apparently Puddles’ chew toys have the same life expectancy as a teenager’s clean room room. They’re both measured in seconds.

Puddles has to be quite on in years at this point, yet remains as feisty as ever.

I have the tester for those companies advertising these type of dog toys; I affectionately call him ‘Jaws of Death’.

I think Puddles could use a regular midday outdoor walk and play session. I used to watch a man in a suit playing frisbee with his dog during his lunch hour. When I commented about that to a dog owner she said that was an effective way to keep one’s dog from chewing up the furniture.

sounds like my Am-Staff, Mama, destroyed one of those “Tuff” dog toys inside of 10 minutes. Mama kills all her toys, Papa, our bull dog mix of I don’t know what only kills cats. He hardly plays with any toys.

So true, if a toy lasts my puppy 2 days we’re doing good, super extra durable or not.

The first Lab we got was the conversation in my office each morning “what did Alex do yesterday?” He was the original Marley. In fact when the movie came out my office said why didn’t Alex get the part LOL

I think I’ve figured out why all the family have evolved into credible humans, but not Puddles: Puddles isn’t a dog at all, but a Japanese robotic pet. Thus the toonish look. Even the mechanical tail wags.

Even if she unloads groceries in the living room, and lets Puddles explode toys, Nancy can do no wrong in my book. I like her, and Luann will never look as good as she does.

My dog does the same thing. Cannot find a toy she cannot destroy, including fire hose, kongs, hard rubber. Now all she gets are shed antlers. Btw, she is a mini dachshund.
