When you look at where the American population density compared to the oversimplified red/blue state maps, you see how dysfunctional and broken the House of representatives actually is and how wrong the Electoral College really is. People, not land masses should determine the number of representatives in Congress.
It seems that the Republicans have to use purging, gerrymandering, and other dirty tricks to remain relevant as their policies quite obviously aren’t helping America grow or even sustain our standard of living.
I’ve always wondered: where exactly in the constitutional enumerated powers is the Federal Government allowed to have a police force? Seems like the FBI should be devolved to the states. (Along with a number of other departments)
So is Bok going to attack this example of federal investigation next?
“A U.S. Coast Guard lieutenant and self-identified white nationalist was arrested after federal investigators uncovered a cache of weapons and ammunition in his Maryland home that authorities say he stockpiled to launch a widespread domestic terrorist attack targeting politicians and journalists.”
Yeah, you really shouldn’t have elected an “asset” of our single most dangerous enemy to the office of president. Especially one who “thinks” with his ventricles. We’ll just have to do the best we can.
A side comment: Lots and lots of links appear in posted comments. Now, personally I think a link is very similar to a footnote, and should be used for purposes of attributing a quote or source, or as a suggestion for in depth follow-up should the reader desire to do so. If you have something to say, marshal your thoughts and words and post a comment; don’t rely on links to make your argument for you, please.
To the best of my knowledge, neither the FBI nor any other agency of the government has ever attempted or even contemplated any action even remotely similar to what Chip Bok has portrayed here.
The FBI ought to be able to sue him for libel. (Bok is not expressing an opinion, but portraying an action, which amounts to making an accusation.)
McCabe told Wallace that he immediately believed his days were numbered once Comey was fired because he knew Trump had routinely complained about him to Comey. McCabe also saw what he described as the “rambling” four-page letter in which Trump had initially laid out his reasons for firing Comey. In that letter, Trump listed Comey’s failure to fire McCabe as one of his reasons. Remember, that letter was never released to the public; instead, then-White House counsel Don McGahn buried it in a safe and the White House released Rosenstein’s memo instead as the basis for Comey’s firing. Nonetheless, McCabe had good reason to believe that his days as acting FBI director would be short-lived.
Americans are to stupid to vote. Perhaps that is too uninformed to vote. Perhaps they are too misinformed to vote. Independents must be in a terrible quandary with no party to fall back on. I wonder how many people on the street know who Mueller is.
Undermine law enforcement. Undermine the judicial system. Undermine the press. Undermine the truth. Undermine democracy. Undermine the Republic. That’s the game plan. Also, it was Hitler’s and Lenin’s. Wake up and smell the swamp. This is Putin’s plan.

That’s right, Chip! The FBI SHOULD protect the American people from traitors.
Or were you trying to make some kind of joke here?

Of course, the people didn’t vote for Trump . . . .

Seems that Bok prefers supporting a President who trusts Putin and ‘MBS’ more than our Intelligence community!

@Bozhi — Can you please tell us what Sen. Graham and “Psycho” A. Jones have to say about this? ( Any other ‘reputable’ sources, too ).
