Being from Seattle, I wanted the Seahawk to go and win the Super Bowl. When that longshot didn’t pan out I wanted the Saints to win it. When they lost I said ok, I’ll root for the Chiefs. When that fell through, I decided not to root for a team lest I jinx them. Instead I’ll do like my Mom use to do and root for whoever has the ball.
First let me say, “Yes the Saints were cheated.” Now with that said I can now ask my question. Why would a anyone want to wast their time watching a bunch of over paid athletes run around a field chasing after a ball? To me and again I say to me it’s just plain dumb a bunch of grown men putting on Halloween costumes running around hitting each other over a ball.
I’ll root for anyone but New England. I am tired of Brady’s arrogance and cheating. Between him and Gronk, there are no helmets big enough to fit their huge egos.
Some folks like chocolate, some folks like strawberry.
What bothers me is when some chocolate liking folks start criticizing and/or preaching at strawberry liking folks, or some strawberry liking folks start criticizing and/or preaching at chocolate liking folks.
You like chocolate? Fine, eat chocolate and enjoy it, and keep your thoughts to yourself.
You like strawberry? Fine, eat strawberry and enjoy it, and keep your thoughts to yourself.
And, oh yeah…
You don’t like chocolate or strawberry? Fine, find/do something else and enjoy it, and keep your thoughts to yourself.
Oh is it that time of year again? Husband used to like it when they played during the day. He would go from store to store and change the channels on the TV away from the game. It is an annoying thing that game. We used to go to a national chain buffet restaurant that has since closed in our area (and in most areas). We used to eat dinner there every Sunday for a couple of decades. Suddenly we went one Sunday night and they were closed – due to that horrid game! Makes no sense – they were always jammed with a long wait no matter when it was. The next year we contacted them and asked if they would be closed that night – “NO”. Drove 45 minutes to get there and they were closed. This was the entire chain, not the one place. We complained to national. We were told that customers want to watch the game, so they close so they can? Huh? Was there a requirement that if they were open people not stay home and do whatever they wanted? The employees wanted to work and were out their pay and tips for the night. Maybe thinking like that is what put them out of business.

At least Arlo got to live his dream of playing “Kato” from the Pink Panther movie series. Once.

Well first, lets draw straws to see who gets what team. Just to start off fair. Rewards can then be negotiated and agreed upon.

This is the problem w/ conditional betting nowadays. There’s no more dramatic tension of “What will happen if I win/lose?”

I don’t care who wins. I’m just trying to figure out that hat. I like it, even if it looks like he’s wearing the cat’s water bowl.

Well, some things are more enjoyable than others.

Well, since the Rams have to battle a corrupt opponent, plus a complicit league… I’ll spend my time otherwise.
