Babies in cages. Government shut down. Rampant corruption on an unprecedented scale (emoluments, money laundering, nepotism, CONspiracy with enemy nations). Total chaos. Almost like a hostile foreign adversary planned it that way!
The title of the book Everything Trump Touches Dies, by former REPUBLICAN strategist Rick Wilson, says it all.
Whether it is his staff who end up fired or in jail, the workers he doesn’t pay, the wives he isn’t faithful to, the trusting students (and other consumers) he defrauds — even talk show hosts who have the temerity to laugh at his “locker room talk” (Billy Bush gets fired; Trump steals the White House thanks to Russian conspiracy) — or anyone else, once their lives intersect with Trump’s their lives are destroyed.
More recent victims: all the TrumpubliCON House members, state governors and state legislators who supported Trump and had their reelection hopes crushed. And future victims are those who will have to run with him (or his legacy of misery if he is impeached or in jail) at the top of the ticket in 2020.
The latest victims: innocent children kidnapped from parents illegally and locked in cages, or government workers forced to work in involuntary servitude without pay (violation of the 13th Amendment?). Just more broken lives on a lengthy highway of hopeful futures destroyed by this evil monster.
Coast Guard – underfunded for years. Border checkpoints – broken X-Ray machines. Airports – TSA personnel and air traffic controllers working without pay as long as they can. OK six billion dollars but dedicate it to border security at checkpoints and border patrol, our coastlines and airports.
Would a successful private company put up with a service disruption like this caused by a single incompetent irrational narcissistic individual that insists on having his way?
You wonder what it takes to get thru to some people. Here’s a finding from a CNN poll released just today: “The public generally is more apt to blame the President, with 55% saying he is more responsible for the shutdown than are Democrats in Congress, while 32% say the blame rests mostly with the Democrats. Another 9% say both are responsible.”
And here are the words out of the guy’s own mouth only a month ago: “I am proud to shut down the government for border security, Chuck.… I will take the mantle. I will be the one to shut it down. I’m not going to blame you for it.” —Donald J. Trump (1946- ), 45th President of the United States, televised conference from the Oval Office, 2018 Dec. 11
Trump’s business plan is to hold hostages until people that have empathy cave into his demands. Policy is to not give in to terrorists demands. Put pressure on Trump’s enablers in the Senate.

Every time Trump speaks he reminds us of what a president should be,
anyone but him.

Think about this: We need more border security so our first step should be to stop paying the Coast Guard, TSA and CBP? Yeah, that will help.

Yep, another of Trump’s skillful win-win negotiations.
Are we tired of winning yet, folks?

Don’t worry about Trump and his cabinet, their 10% pay increase will dull the pain.

Idiot Trump says he is frustrated by the government shut down.
He should reopen the government then.
