We had an experience in D.C. with a crooked cabbie who, apparently, thought that we didn’t know our way around the area! When we refused to pay the ridiculous fare, he threatened to call the police to which we replied "that’s a great idea if you don’t we will! He said " get out"and sped off! :o]

Could be worse. Could be a Washington D. C, taxi. They use a zone system to calculate fare. Crazy enough to confuse a mathematician.
