We forget who we are and what the “E Pluribus Unum” motto stands for. American evangelicals have reinterpreted Christianity to be an exclusive group and wish it to have greater influence yet their numbers are declining. I’m hoping this is their last gasp and civility will return to America.

Wilson actively re-segregated the civil service, which Grant had diversified decades before — enough so that the Civil Service had become a haven for African-Americans to find good careers. He thought Birth of a Nation, the KKK fake origin story, was brilliant.
He got suckered in by the British to support them, by having pro-British Cabinet members and by allowing them to propagandize the US (one of the Brits’ first actions after their war got started was to cut the direct telegraph cable from Germany), helping to turn another European war that was almost over into an even greater bloodbath.
After his stroke, his wife essentially took over the Presidency, too. The more you dig into Wilson, the worse he becomes…

We KNOW the previous administrations allowed the BP to use CS and pepper spray at their own discretion. Tear gas was used on illegal aliens at the border at least 80 times under Obama. Some reports put it closer to 120.
I had a history teacher in high school (Westchester High School, Los Angeles – just north of LAX) who thought that Wilson could do no wrong. I guess he didn’t know about the White House screening of “Birth of a Nation.”
