What Murphy really wants to do is direct.

Listen, Murph, take my advice. Go find the cat. Maybe you can convince her to play tag. Or at least to curl up together for a nap.

Don’t worry, Murphy. She doesn’t have a rolled up newspaper.

Buzz buzz buzz. Swat swat swat! and so the evening progresses, until they are worn out.

Murphy’s gotta go find a really big spider. That would be unsettling to anyone.

“Oh, my!”, growls Murphy. “The inmates are running the Ballard Street Asylum!”

Murphy’s used to smaller bugs that he can snap up in one bite….

He’s not used to his Papa being a bug… too big to bite, and it’s forbidden anyhow….

Oh, the confusion!

The good thing about doggie confusion, though, as compared to human, like mine…

is that all it takes is a few Milk Bones or Liva-Snaps, and it’s history.

Come to think of it…. a few Hershey Kisses… preferably the dark ones… will do that for me, too.

Looks like Murphy and Patty have been reading a few books on how to spice up your love life…some really strange books.
