Threatening violence as a scare tactic to suppress votes against his preferred candidates is the tactic of tyrants and dictators. So what can we expect if the Democrats take back the House? Burning the Reichstag? (I mean House.)

More than tantrums. Donnie is preparing to incite his zombie goons into a civil war. Then he’ll sit back and deny he had anything to do with any of it.

    Voilà!

The multiplying villainies of nature do swarm upon him.

Disdaining fortune, with his brandish’d steel which smoked with bloody execution.

    ’Tis too much proved.

That with devotion’s visage and pious action we do sugar o’er the devil himself.

In view, a humble vaudevillian veteran cast vicariously as both victim and villain by the vicissitudes of fate.

This visage, no mere veneer of vanity is a vestige of the vox populi, now vacant, vanished.

However, this valorous visitation of a bygone vexation stands vivified and has vowed to vanquish these venal and virulent vermin vanguarding vice and vouchsafing the violently vicious and voracious violation of volition.

The only verdict is vengeance, a vendetta held as a votive not in vain, for the value and veracity of such shall one day vindicate the vigilant and the virtuous.

Votes will be The People’s vendetta, not violence. Only symbolic vengeance – judicial proceedings decided by ordinary juries — will be visited on this hopelessly corrupt administration. The Russian government’s attempts to subvert the west have already backfired, as their struggling economy (1/12th of America’s output) will be virtually ruined by vindictive and perpetual sanctions.

    V is for Victory

    V is for Voting

Michael Eric Dyson issued a scathing attack on President Donald Trump at the funeral for Aretha Franklin

“And then this orange apparition had the nerve to say she worked for him!” Dyson told the audience. “You lugubrious leech! You dopey doppelgänger of deceit and deviance! You lethal liar, you dim-witted dictator, you foolish fascist!”

“She ain’t work for you!” he exclaimed. “She worked above you! She worked beyond you! Get your preposition right!”

“Then he got the nerve to say he gonna grab it!” Dyson continued. “That ain’t what Aretha Franklin said – I’mma give you something you can feel.”

“Like the brothers in the streets say, tap lightly! Like a woodpecker with a headache!” he concluded.

About a year ago, President Trump pledged to eliminate the national debt “over a period of eight years.” But for the first time in history, the national debt surpassed $21 trillion this week, according to the U.S. Treasury.

The landmark comes shortly after Congress passed, and Mr. Trump signed, a suspension on the federal debt limit last month, allowing the government to borrow an unlimited amount of money until March 1, 2019.

Referring to Kim Jong-un, Mr. Trump said, “He has been very threatening beyond a normal state, and as I said, they will be met with fire and fury, and frankly power the likes of which this world has never seen before.”

Much later, Hawaii had a scare when a “Nuclear Alert”, “this is not a drill,” was blared across the islands. Although it was a false alarm, Trump’s threats make anything seem possible.

I had the occasion this past week to talk at length with a retiring middle aged , middle income, middle American mainstream (Methodist) minister. In our conversation he told me he was retiring – due to the conflict in his church between the Trump supporters and non-trumpians. He left because he could not bring them together even in the context of the church and the bible. He admitted that it was the trump supporters that were the intransigent ones – unwilling to compromise or concede on the good of the church. So much for the Love of God.If there’s violence I doubt that it will come from the “atheists and other miscreants”.

Note the swastika on the left. When asked about the violence statement, Trump tried to back away from it. He doesn’t even have the courage to stick to his own beliefs.

If I were Pence I’d be worried.

Some action against the VPOTUS would be the perfect excuse for Donnie to declare Martial Law.

In early 2015, Pence stumbled into a culture-war debacle that would come to define his governorship. At the urging of conservative-Christian leaders in Indiana, the GOP-controlled state legislature passed a bill that would have allowed religious business owners to deny services to gay customers in certain circumstances. Pence signed it into law in a closed-press ceremony at the statehouse, surrounded by nuns, monks, and right-wing lobbyists. A photo of the signing was released, and all hell broke loose. Corporate leaders threatened to stop adding jobs in Indiana, and national organizations began pulling scheduled conventions from the state. The NCAA, which is headquartered in Indianapolis, put out a statement suggesting that the law might imperil “future events.” The Indianapolis Star ran a rare front-page editorial under an all-caps headline: “FIX THIS NOW.”
