The people who lived in that house used to be so friendly and nice. Now they keep the drapes closed and yell at people who come near their lawn.

For decades they enjoyed the company of their neighbor’s, but they’ve grown old and now fear them.

What’s REALLY frightening is that there are low-watt, mouth-breathing, inbred, Red-state goobers out there who will see this and say “HELL, YEAH!!! Thet there’s the way it AUTTA BE!!”

An expatriate American moves into a house in Quebec. His Canadian neighbor sighs and says, “Well, there goes the neighborhood.”

It’s not just the doormat that’s thrown in the trash. It’s also our hospitality, kindness, standing in the world, long held values and morality. What’s left at home ? two AR-15 rifles, a MAGA hat lined with tinfoil, a half eaten cheeseburger and a prescription for Ambien.

It’s much worse than just withdrawing the welcome mat.

Shouldn’t that welcome mat be in a dumpster? On fire?

It doesn’t have to be this way. Our political parties for all their rhetoric still preserve a system that attracts convicted felons and power seekers. We can take the country back town by town, city by city, state by state, with RCV (IRV) elections of honest, competent, well vetted people with no corporate sponsors or craving for power.

Not true! They left the welcome mat in place because it covered the trap door, which was connected to the door bell.

Now he arrives with his hopes and his heart set on miracles

Come to marry his fortune with a hand full of promises

To find they’ve closed the door, they don’t want him anymore

Isn’t anymore to go aroundTurning away he remembers he once heard

A legend that spoke of a mystical magical land called America

There was a time when strangers were welcome here

Music would play, they tell me the days were sweet and clear

It was a sweeter tune and there was so much room that people could come from everywhere

    From Neil Sadaka’s “The Immigrant”

These words describe America. The dark perversions of the current occupant of the White House are truly unAmerican. He betrays our ideals.

He must pass into irrelevance. Let us speed his passing at the polls this fall!

When Melania wears a jacket expressing the administrations real view, “womp; womp” ..I’d call it a Freudian slip but it really isn’t funny….

Melania was wearing that crap on purpose. It literally had a message written on it! She accused Obama a few years ago of not being born in this country and has been fair game ever since. She is a POS like the rest of them. Time for the trumps to go!

Melania wore a jacket that says “I really don’t care, do you?” to one of the immigrant children detention “cities” in Texas.

“I really don’t care, do you?” was what Trump said to Melania when she asked what he was doing with kidnapped children.

Right wingers would throw a starving child in jail for stealing a slice of bread. The persons who are attempting the long harsh journey to get here with young children are doing so because their lives are at stake.
