Canadians are much tougher than people think. Their two favorite sports involve a semi-controlled riot on ice where they flail away at each other with sticks and then send 90 mph hard rubber disks at someone who has agreed to stand there and be shot at. When they want to relax, they whack their stones together on the ice. They are either way tough, or their brain have been frozen. May be both.
No, it isn’t a Chinese ornament. No matter where it is made, it is a symbol of America. Would I prefer it to be made here? Sure, but you can thank businesses there who made it cheaper and the retailers here who went for the dollar rather than support our local makers.
