Kindle, baby— real Kindles, like the Voyage. Uses reflected light, so it works fine in any light; and has a built-in light so it works just as well in no light. I have walls of bookshelves and a Kindle, too— I like both in different circumstances.
This took me a minute, but this is absolutely a conversation I could see having had with my grandmother. One of the stories told at her funeral was the time she called my mother all excited because she had heard on the news that they were giving away free condos to students on Spring Break in Miami.

Actually, it’s quite easy to read a book on a tablet; just lay the tablet down, set the book on top of it, and read.
You’ll notice that this works with both computers and aspirins.

Just take a picture of the tablet using the built-in camera that most tablets have. Then you can read the tablet on a tablet!

Zebra referred to himself as “Zebra” to his Dad. Which should be like me calling my Father and referring to myself by our last name.

Actually, this can be a problem once you get older and have a dozen prescriptions, half of which are white tablets with tiny letters on them.
