It is apparent that Mr. Toles hasn’t been listening to Bernie nor has he read his book or his program.

The only way to get money out of the Republican congress is to ask for money to bomb Muslims and/or investigate Hillary. Bernie isn’t paying attention to that.

If you want to know what Sanders stands for, go to BernieSanders.com, skip through the contribution requests, and go to the “issues” section. If what you want to know isn’t listed in the 28 sections covered, send them a request for information. If you don’t know what Sanders stands for, it isn’t because he hasn’t made it clear, it’s because you haven’t bothered to find out. And, it you haven’t bothered to find out, you are less qualified to put out a cartoon than Bernie is to be president.

Nobody wants an economic plan that can’t be expressed as a five-second sound bite.

The larger problem is than none of our current politicians have the tools to work out the details to solve the real world problems we face but are concentrating of promoting their ideologies, deriding their opponent’s ideology, preventing the rise of a third party, and keeping the voters divided against each other rather than cooperating on common goals.https://hbr.org/2012/03/fixing-whats-wrong-with-us-politics

If Senator Sanders were to win the general election, which is very doubtful given the barrage of anti socialist dung that would be slung his way, he would not bring in a new senate or house. To think that would happen is a foolish fantasy. So his promises would be denied by the same folks that stymied President Obama. And when the midterm elections came along the young and passionate voters that are showing up now will be nowhere to be found. They will sit back and whine about broken promises same as always. If you want things to change you have to show up for every election just like the right wing of this country does.

Go Bernie! Head and shoulders above everyone else. Those who believe he has not been specific have been victims of the corporate media who prefers a Hillary that is their creature.

Some studies say economic inequality is a social problem.4 E.g., too much inequality can be destructive,56 because it might hinder long term growth.789 Too much income equality is also destructive since it decreases the incentive for productivity and the desire to take-on risks and create wealth.10111213.https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Economic_inequality

It is amazing what selective editing can do to a thoughtful reply not prepared as a sound bite. Why don’t you take on Hillary’s “white noise” she broadcast to the street at a fundraiser so we could not know what she was saying? And what about releasing those transcripts of her talk to Goldman Sachs? I am truly disappointed in you.

The daily interview Was filled with actual legitimate gotcha questions, unlike the republican version, they were actually clearly biased and designed to cause trouble.

“Why doesn’t Cruz’s economic plan add up?”It adds up to about 10 trillion dollars of additional debt. But, deficits won’t matter once the Oval Office is occupied by a Republican, right?

Sad. Toles is such a good cartoonist, too. Turns out it was the Daily News that was lost, not Bernie. One simple answer is we want the same social rights and benefits that other advanced nations have had for generations- instead of wars for Wall Street.

Too bad Tom doesn’t know how bad Clinton is.. She has been cheating and lying to win. What are we doing with a candidate who has been Indicted by the FBI?I’ve heard the extremely aggressive way he has often been interviewed. Complicated subjects and no Time Between them to give a good answer. Clinton’s questions have been much more relaxed and easier.Time to be fair, and stop the cheating and lying on her part.

ForALaugh Are all you children so young that you can’t remember when California had free education from kindergarten to PhD if you could make the grade? It produced a lot of Nobel laureates and didn’t go broke – it encountered Reagan as governor.

Which parasites are you talking about? Do you know that 40% of all people who get benefits are children?40% of all American children live below the poverty level.

I’m sure you don’t mean the “working poor” those that work for places like Walmart and other mimumum wage workers who have to work 2 full time jobs just to pay the bills.Do you mean the disabled? do you see someone who looks healthy enough to work? You can’t possibly Know what each person has wrong with them. He or she may be mentally ill, or have a sick child/spouse/parent they are being full time care taker for. There are many stories besides what you think you know.Another big chunk of “losers” are the old, who are living on social security.. which they have earned. Most of them live below poverty level. It is hard to live below poverty level. The word “Largess” sounds like a lot of money, but the most common amount of CHIP that 1 person receives is $62.Beware of calling people Losers. Most middle class people are 2 paychecks away from poverty.

And most people are 1 disaster from poverty. Things like;getting your car totaled,a divorce,a flood, fire, tornado, hurricane,a serious illness that keeps you from working, or a serious illness in your family. There but for the grace of God goes you and all the other “not losers”.Maybe a little bit of survivors guilt projection too.
