In Calvin’s defense, saying the words “bucket of boogers” is pretty hard to do without moving one’s lips, start with something simple, without B’s, P’s or M’s in it. She might have been fooled if Calvin said, “Susie is an idiot”. Nah, she would have caught on.

Those X-ray specs ads were also ripoffs! Calvin makes a cameo appearance in today’s “Thatababy” episode.

Calvin, I think Susie was fooled, and she did launch a retaliatory attack against Mr. Stinky Sock, you were just Collateral Damage.

I’d stay away from Susie in the future; she’s violent.

Somewhere in some alternate universe, someone finds a sock and says “where do these things keep coming from? And where did my dust bunnies go?”

On an unrelated subject, has anyone noticed a gray semi-transparent screen appear over Calvin and Hobbes the first time you access the strip? I perform a Safari Reset every night after I am done with internet, and the first time I access C&H, and only C&H, I have a gray semi-transparent screen over the strip that only appears for a few seconds and clears…

I remember those ‘Throw your voice’ ads in comics looong ago. Bet they’re still doing them, too.
