Really think Pig should keep an eye on that dog, though.

To be fair, the exchange rate of bacon to soul is at an all time high.

The man-dog contract is simple: the dog needs to be convinced that by sticking with you his FUTURE bacon is profuse, continual and guaranteed.

I have had great dogs, bad dogs, crazy dogs, stupid dogs. But I have never, ever had a disloyal dog.

    1. I asked Google what a rasher of bacon was, and found that this fit in with the mainstream of answers: “A thin slice of fried or broiled bacon. 2. A dish or an order of thin slices of fried or broiled bacon. [Origin unknown.] American Heritage® Dictionary of the English …”2. Cute limerick, kea! This needs more revision, but I amended the short lines to “You can let it be said/That you have just maid,” but that most likely detracts from the closing punch line. Um, just forget what I said . . .

Reminds me of Duke the dog from the Bush’s Baked Beans tv commercials: willing to sell-off the ‘old family recipe’ at any price.

i think that applies to any number of people as well. they wouldn’t sell their own souls, but one of their nearest and dearest in exchange for bacon——well……

Well, in the dog’s defense, it would prove nearly impossible to find any carnivore who wouldn’t betray you for a strip of bacon.

I’d like to think my price is a little higher – 3 strips. Does that make me morally superior?

Neighbor Bob has balanced up the plusses and minuses of having a dog for a pet and has a dog. Maybe Neighbor Bob is wising up and won’t be so quick to join the many non-quick Neighbors Bob….Did someone say bacon?
