    The problem with those who assume the Warren Commission was right, is that they have not read the government’s own documents, which include the 26 volume “Hearings and Exhibits,” among other documents released at various times over the years. Sadly, Allen Dulles was right when he said in a commission meeting, “people don’t read,” when confronted by another WC member about how their own evidence did not support their conclusions well.

    This is like that recent thing about a petition to change Halloween to the last Saturday in October. Whoever started that petition apparently didn’t realize it’s not a federal holiday in any way, shape, or form. There is no one to give that petition to who could do anything.

    That’s what I wonder about all these downer strips that Pastis does. He seems awfully depressed for someone who has a highly-coveted and decently paid job, and who also lives in California. He ought to try living in Texas for a full year. Then he’d really appreciate California.
