One wrong roll and he’d have taken a hit in his crocuses.

I find it curious that none of the weekday-thread-haters are here with any comments……If we have to put up with your vituperation of poor Jimmy, at least be here subjecting us to how great it is to have our two stars in the strip today…..

Rules for gardening. Wait until it warms up. Dig deep. Put in seed.

One thing Arlo does not have in his bed is a hoe.

well, whaddya know – arlo & janis in the strip, what a creative idea!

Does anyone actually get this one?? I sure don’t. Did Janis accidentally bring her gardening tools to bed? Arlo seems surprised to find them there. Then he puts the tools on her side of the bed.

She plans to get an early (very early!) start on her garden.

I really don’t want to know what they were using those for. :-P

I’m sure Julius has it right – she just couldn’t wait now that it’s officially spring. Still – all credit due for those perceptive “rules for gardening”…
