Light him on fire, and he’s very warm. He makes a good night light, too.

Keep him in stir! Don’t shelters…ahem… put down critters that haven’t been adopted after a certain amount of time? How much time left in Rat’s sentence? —Just wondering, you understand.

If Pastis wants to get rid of Rat, he can just have Guard Duck take him out. Or better yet, just use an eraser.

Rat and his bat should be drafted by the Crankees or the Mertzs…it would be an improvement!!

@WoodEyeYesterday, you wrote “It’s too bad you can’t get Mutts in GoComics.”True, but Mutts is available at it’s own website. You can even view old strips there, or sign up for an emailed strip.

Yesterday, the strip said Mutts ran Shelter strips. Anyone know a time frame for when he last ran one? It’s not this week.

Just this past weekend, there was an newspaper article highlighting Tiny Toes Rat Rescue of New Mexico. Maybe Rat can find a home there.

Actually, rats make good pets. They are much nicer (and smarter) than either gerbils or hamsters. Only problem is that darn naked tail – that is the turn-off for most people. Really a shame that most rats in pet stores wind up as snake food.

Pastis could send Rat to the military. He could look for road side bombs and land mines in Afghan land.He ever has the bat to check the ground for explosives. They would probably mistake him for a mongoose at first glance.

Here in Alberta, Rat, just like all rats, is banned and kept out by the Rat Patrol.
