Yep. This’ll be hard for TJ, since he is expected to be glad for B&T (and he genuinely is), but at the same time they’re going to kick him out of his home, and surely Brad wouldn’t expect TJ to be OK with that. It’s not that TJ can’t afford to move, since he can. He’ll be losing his current home, his good buddy housemate and the social structure/support that entailed, and so on. Further, he just plain will lose his current relationship with Brad. When people get married, all kinds of things change with their friendships and so on. TJ will be all right—but a lot’s going to change for him, not all of it good.

    *

I bet, like others here, that he’ll take over Toni’s lease. Or maybe he’ll live above his restaurant. Would Frank and Nancy offer to take him in temporarily while he looked for other housing, or would they think it wouldn’t be appropriate with Luann there?

    *

Perhaps his business will finally provide a venue where he could meet a woman his own age and start something cooking there.

Clearly ONE of them is going to have to move out. And since Toni has a place, I don’t think it should be an issue. Either T.J. takes on her apartment, or Brad moves out of the house. Of course, it’s getting clearer and clearer that Brad and Toni will likely end up with the responsibility of raising Shannon. (Which is completely unfair to them. Newly-married saddled with a kid? No way.)

TJ will leave, and I agree with Kenhense, it would be ahoot if AE managed by TJ, w long term lease. This couldbe good. They say payback is what??

Nothing happens to Brad, or Toni. They live long and. prosper, are terribly happy, and have two small children wholook just like them. There is a story about Shannon and adjustment to her newsurroundings. A little nervous about sharing Toni withBwad, but Brad is patient and it turns out fine.

A promotion is in store for Brad,.with new training andresponsibilities. He is juggling this w being newlywed, andfather to Shannon. Also learning to stay neutral in wife and Mother. But it is good. He is with the love of his life, and very happy.P.S.TJ’s restaurant goes big, he gets famous. Uhhhh, he alsoburns the place down, has to start again. But that’ok, he’sT.J. You will be amazed at how he restarts. Off the charts.

I’m with the “Take over Toni’s lease” crowd. I doubt AE would magically appear as the new property manager. Now, whether or not she’s the property mgr. for the cafe itself might be interesting!

Anyway, “Full Steam Ahead” Brad. Gotta get Frank/Nancy notified so they don’t hear it 2nd hand. And I’d also be curious as to Shannon’s reaction. Wonder if she’s already painting “her room” in the house. :)

“They would be insane to allow TJ that much into their lives.”

Well Lev, the DeGroots have done it BEFORE, remember?

Remember when TJ burned the Horner House down and the DeGroots, for some strange reason felt sorry for him and took him into their home for a couple of months? And when he got there, remember how he barged in on Nancy while she was taking a bath, and made inappropriate passes at Luann?Yep. SWELL Guy, that TJ. So, I wouldn’t put it pass the DeGroots to welcome him back into their home with open arms all over again. The Saps….,

I think BT will have to step lightly with TJ so they can call on him as a backup babysitter. Maybe they have it in mind to use TJ to teach them basic cooking skills. And it’s always a good thing to have a guy you can call on for moving & stuff.

Strictly from Toni’s perspective, it’s good to keep your friends close but your enemies closer.

“…not certain about Brad’s statement that there are no more issues between Nancy and Toni. The ladies did go shopping together, but the ice between them could have been cut with a chisle. I do not recall any strip where Nancy said anything about liking, much less trusting Toni.”.Agree. Since Nancy dropped the “MIL refrigeration bomb” on Toni there’s been no warming of their relationship. In a recent strip Toni impressed upon Brad the importance of family relationships when he last mentioned the “no problem” thing. It was during that conversation that she alluded to the strained relationship twixt she and Nancy. Although Brad is blind to it (as most men are), there ARE issues..That said, I can’t wait to see the look on Nancy’s face.

.Donny, maybe everything you do on the boards doesn’t have to be inappropriate. I done had ‘nuff of our Donny when his posts approached 1,000+ words AND it was all incoherent. He was leaving himself wide open for potshots so I didn’t mind takin’ em..I don’t know what I was thinkin’ of him prior to reading one of his missives from start to finish yesterday. Then I started perceiving him as one person tryin’ to drive a track full of bumper cars all at the same time. After realizing that’s the case I was just going to disengage but he started that “Sweetheart” thing this morning and, well, that set me to up & runnin’. I gave him the email address tongue-in-cheek, really hopin’ it was going to tire him out or make him skedaddle..If he gives me an opportunity to stop interacting, I’m all over it. I have so “jumped the snark” that it’s been more than enough for me, us and for them.
