   DampWaffle, you are so right! I needed a horn of plenty last Thanksgiving but I waited til the week before Thanksgiving to go look for one-couldn’t find a picture of one. I finally snagged one around Memorial Day. Looking forward to Christmas carols on Columbus Day!

   Wished somebody had told the idiot who tiled the bathroom in my apartment that WHITE IS BASIC ! BlackFrostWarrior, I’m with you! My bathroom is bronze/mauve/rose/and some kind of brown. Who thinks like this? Mango in the bedroom? Keep it soft is all I can say, and accent with deeper shades so it won’t be too “girlish” for Earl.

   Aw…Poor Lizzie. This is what it’s like to miss your tormentor or torment’ee’. My youngest granddaughter works my eldest’s last nerve every minute of every day! Yet when the eldest went to camp for a week, the youngest couldn’t sleep, didn’t want to play with anybody else, sang “I miss Sanai” in the bathtub (thought nobody could hear her), and practically knocked her down when Sanai got off the bus! It was precious! Mike’s got a big hug coming!

   Trap door spiders? AW, hell no! You also shouldn’t read about alligators in the sewers while lounging in a tub!

   It’s like that now. Problem is local stations are connected to cable, which sucks to high heaven. Everything else in between is either “reality” shows or just garbage. I miss Mr. Cronkhite, too.

   Read all the Jack Reacher books – never pictured him as Tom Cruise. That killed the series for me. Bad enough they choose Katherine Heigel for Stephanie Plum and that guy who hardly looks like a ‘dark Latin wilth a killer bod" to play ’Ranger’. Yuck Hollywood sure kills your imagination.
