Alas! Too near Truth for me. My favorite close-by gas station, with my favored brand, is also the most expensive in the area—unless you also buy a run through their newly-installed car wash along with your gas purchase.

Even at a difference of $0.10/gal, to fill my tank that’s only $1.10— usually not worth the drive. Or, being the difference between cash and credit here, is the convenience of paying by CC worth a buck to me?
