There was a place in Da Nang which meets the description here – the XXIV Corps compound. Above ground pool (until one of my platoon’s M551 Sheridans “accidently” took the corner off it and let the water out), tennis courts, gymnasium, AC in the O Club, and excellent food to go with the comfy quarters.
