Tommy is this close to an emotional breakdown. At this point I think their keeping Elvis away so he doesn’t try to go down there and rampage.

Puck: Love to. It would be perfect if Thomios has some of his exquisite honey scones prepared.

Burt: Of course. It wouldn’t be the same without them. And a spot of tea as well.

Puck: And I think I see Elvis over there enjoying tea and scones already.

Burt: He earned it with his scroll reading.

At the Xanadu Honey Demonstration

Puck: Elvis! Great job!

Elvis-Anum: Thank you, Puck. Climbing was a breeze!

Puck: I can’t wait to hear the bees talk about their honey.

Kira (Terpsichore): One thing I’ve learned is don’t be afraid to experiment. We’re most fortunate to have Trevor-Hotep and his Cosmo Nursery.

Tallie (Thalia): But it does pay to be careful. I once tried to make honey from a flower not knowing it was a space-time anemone.

Puck: How did the honey turn out?

Tallie: No one knows. We can’t find it.

Poor Tommy. He’s probably down to half a dozen beds now!

And this story line is about to weasel away, never to be seen again. We hope no one ferrets out the truth of the matter and just lets sleeping storylines lie.

We know they are a bit CRAZY

I had no idea ferrets had such interesting tastes. Must make coexistence, even with Tommy, difficult.

Tommy truly believes that if you can’t say something nice, you shouldn’t say anything at all.

(I do believe that humans sometimes need to be told when they’re being donkey’s behinds, for their own good and everyone else’s. But ferrets and other pets just need to learn a stern “no” for their own safety.)

here in the Eastern Townships of Quebec we were directly in the path and it was awesome! Watched from my balcony in a “residence” along with other “inmates”. A cheer and applause went up at totality. Weird scene as it went dark then just a sliver of light as it reverted back. Once in a lifetime experience…for me for sure…And yes I understand how people centuries ago would have thought it to be the end of the world.

Tommy’s just about run out of forced optimism on this matter, clearly. Which is saying something, because this is Tommy we’re talking about.

We were able to watch a total eclipse here in Arkansas from our back deck. It was amazing. It went from blazing hot to noticeably cooler back to blazing hot again. So glad we were able to enjoy it with family and furbabies.
