I agree it was dealing with real life issues. We could have had someone from the Gulf War or Afghanistan even economic and housing crisis. Instead we get Boog and his magical talking animals Rufus and Joel. rarely see Walt or Skeezix or any one else. Its lost its magic now it is just dumb gags and stupid mice singing. We need a new writer one who can bring it back to its glory.This would mean Walk and skeezix would die along with some others but it would mean something again
I miss the real time of the strip. I mean walt a WWI Vet??? he has to be at least 122 now. Its time for walt and Skezzix who is almost 100 to go as well. The life and death f the cast is what made it unique and part of the charm. The only ageless ones were rufus and joel and well becky….And they have gotten dumber and dumber as time goes on.
i doubt it since they stopped ageing the cast. They are just gonna do the is he gonna die or not bit forever.
