An-jvnm-bk begged to stay home from school because the other kids said he was a Transporter malfunction. Actually, he took after Gramps Kd-cdkc-ld, a distinguished diplomat from Ks-cxkh-12, considered quite handsome by his contemporaries.

To change accessibility settings, hold down the Windows key and press ‘I’.

Accessibility will appear on the left of the resulting window, below ‘Gaming’, and above ‘Privacy & Security’.

I saw this and the first thing that popped into my mind was … Clarke, Arthur C. (1953). Childhood’s End. Ballantine Books

Maybe that’s because of the Overlord commonality?

P.S. I thought Childhood’s End was great except that the Overlords won in the end.

P.P.S. I think Frog Applause is great because … once upon a time we beat the Overlords.

    ALERT!!

Anyone with the names, John, Tom and Bill, can not enter!

Don’t even TRY to penetrate, seep in or saturate…your efforts will be for naught….

Criminals will be prosecuted, if trying any funny business, hanky-panky or sneaky shenanigans…

    We’re watching you…..we know where you are….!

I’ve been impervious to Toms for years. I’ve reached an age where Bills no longer bother me. Johns, on the other hand, I seem to be increasingly in contact with.

But excessive compaction of PERVIOUS concrete results in higher compressive strength, but lower porosity (and thus lower permeability). Does it then follow that excessive compaction of IMPERVIOUS concrete result in lower compressive strength, but higher porosity (and thus higher permeability) …?

All the Johnathans, Thomases, and Williams want to know…!
