    I’ve no idea how duct tape behaves in space, but based on how it behaves on Earth, Pam will have to go out and fix it properly, probably before dinnertime.

    Or as Adam Savage says, don’t use duct tape for anything except temporary repairs. Use gaffer’s tape. Duct tape aspires to be gaffer’s tape.

    I went to an iMax theater to see “Mir”. It was my first look at the inside of a space station. As the camera came through the inner airlock door, the first thing I noticed was a roll of duct tape on a wire holder next to the airlock. Russian “can do” philosophy.
