I suspect Johnson has some weird secrets hiding in his closet. Just like most people who loudly proclaim their personal religious beliefs.

During World War II, you could NOT demoralize/divide Americans against each other with disinformation. Why are the right-wing extremists able to fool so many of the under-educated today?

    TREASON: Sally & Rose

“… While the State Department was getting around to the business of kicking a “highly improper” foreigner out of the country (see col. 1), the Department of Justice finally decided to do something about two U.S. traitors abroad. Last week “Axis Sally” and “Tokyo Rose,” were started home to face trial for treason.

Their stories were almost identical. Maine-born Mildred Elizabeth Gillars, 47, went to Europe in 1929 to study music. When war came she stayed on in Berlin, broadcasting a mixture of sirupy music and defeatist propaganda to U.S. troops. Los Angeles-born Iva Toguri d’Aquino, 32, went to Japan in 1941 “to see a sick aunt,” was caught there by Pearl Harbor. Along with half a dozen English-speaking Japanese girls, she became the corporate voice which Pacific troops nicknamed Tokyo Rose. Just before war’s end, she married a Portuguese newsman.

In both cases the servicemen had found the broadcasts more entertaining than disturbing. Both Sally and Rose had almost been forgotten by everyone. When silver-haired Mildred Gillars stepped from an Army transport plane in Washington at week’s end (see cut), the only real point of interest was why the Justice Department had suddenly decided to make up for two years’ lost time. …" — TIME Monday, Aug. 30, 1948

Meanwhile today’s Ramirez toon features the same subject with more imagination and far better artwork.

Dems have said they will vote against removing Johnson if he supports their bill to provide support to Ukraine. So he’s really stuck between the delusional Perp$464M wing of the Repubs (no aid) and the Dems now. Of course, no telling at this time which way the winds are blowing for Johnson’s removal among the MAGAt Repubs in the House.

Wait, what? Does MTG not still have a hankering for Hunter? If the great love in her heart over him? Does she not still wax poetic while gazing at photos of his manhood? Why hasn’t Fox Spews been covering this?

Every time MTG has to have a hissy fit someone, other than her, has to get fired and the whole process has to grind to a halt. This is Republican leadership? Will someone please put a dunce cap on her and sit her in the corner for a time-out. Preferably until her term ends.

The situation in rural America has been deliberately designed by 1%ers to produce MAGAts. They own the news outlets that broadcast the conservative propaganda. These are people who were raised listening to Rush Limbaugh and then Fox News. In some rural areas, the only actual news is on the local main stream networks, and they have bent over backwards for years to not take sides, even when one side is obviously lying. And, the people they have coffee with, go to church (or the bar) with etc are dealing with the same situation. That means that real people that you trust are backing up what you are getting from the propaganda machine. Unless you are a really intelligent, involved person, you are going to accept the world you see, unaware that it has been paid for and organized by people who are working against your best interests

Now, consider the possibility that the world you live in is not only being exposed as fake by the real news agencies, but even Faux news has now decided they will have to get real occasionally. You are faced with the situation of having lived in a farce your entire life. Can you imagine how frightening that would be? Be generous with them. They are victims of the 1%. If we don’t rub their noses in the situation and support them, they may be able to see the truth.

Seems like all the repubs want to do is oust, fire, impeach and get rid of. It would be nice if they would do the job they were elected to and make the country a better place for the people here. It would be nice if they would pass the budget earlier than 1 minute before the deadline ~ stop all the drama! It would be nice if they would stop the bullying and name calling~ it just gets deplorable! It would be nice if they would just do their job!!!! Make America Great Again and Vote Blue!!

Great political cartoon!!!! However, it is mildly disconcerting that Pizza Rat has NO pizza, AND it appears he is potentially trying to snuggle up to MTG by sitting so close to her during the show. That worries me. :)

Imagine Perjury Taylor Greene on the pole in place of that Johnson.

She’s so ugly that the customers would call the police to have the place raided.

    .

Republicans sure know how to pick ’em.

Serious question: Is anyone aware of any piece of legislation or policy that MTG has come up with, supported, passed or anything else that looks like her actual job? Or is she just getting paid to do what it looks like she’s doing, be the queen of the Mean Girls’ Table?

The context of this toon is correct, MTG is a bit of work and a distraction that needs to go. Johnson needs to get her under control and back under the porch on a leash where she belongs.
