She misheard him. He actually said he was a passologist, which is someone who helps you advance from one grade to the next.

This is a great story, with a lot of pathos!

Just you and him, in the woods with a guy that knows all the paths animals take, probably has a secluded cabin. This is not gonna turn out good!
