Please don’t respond to Russia’s least successful net troll, FeD. Like the old USSR, he’s condemned to the dustbin of history as ineffectual and irrelevant. Help him find new purpose, like serving as Putin’s diaper disposal and personal hygiene assistant. Thank you.
Yes, but we should expect it and ignore it. Does the cartoonist mean sunny or cloudy? If Candlemas Day be bright and clear, there’d be two winters in the year. If Candlemas Day be grey and black, it’d carry winter away on its back. — The Old Farmer’s Almanac
Notice the liberal left doesn’t call them lies. They can’t because so much of what was claimed by the right was proven to be true. So what is disinformation or misinformation? It clearly means anything that the STATE doesn’t want anyone to say or hear.
Wow, Fernblade apparently has a lot of free time and bile. Folks, please don’t feed the troll, although if he keeps this up, he should receive enough red flags to start his own Communist army…
The misinformation I see is from the Left, the border is secure, just don’t, mostly peaceful…Americans are paying attention, Joe isn’t a uniter, just another divider.
In Milwaukee, we don’t have a ground hog any more, Gordy passed last year at the zoo. They replaced him with Penguins so I guess today is Penguin Day in WI
I do spend about an hour a day in my silo: watching cable news on a network that agrees with my beliefs. Most of my news I read. Reading news means I can search around for other articles on the same topic. I especially want to see what the opposition has to say or not say on the topic.
I recently tracked down some information on an executive order signed by the president to give people with lower credit ratings a break on their mortgages. I had to go to five different sources until I got one with enough data to understand analyze the problem.
Two of the articles claimed that this means poor people got something at the expense of rich people and that it cost these hard-working rich people “thousands of dollars.” As a data analyst, “thousands” is not a number. It is a placeholder to tell me where to put the comma in a number.
Not mentioned in 4 of the articles is that people with low credit ratings are not likely to have 20% to put down on a mortgage and im addition to paying a higher rate on the mortgage, they have to pay a premium for mortgage insurance. Eliminating this double-whammy was the purpose of the executive order. It was not just for fun to pick on the rich.
The theory is that home ownership is good for the nation and neighborhoods, so the more people that can qualify, the better the economy will be locally and nationally.
As for the “thousands of dollars:” on a 30-year, $500,000 mortgage, the well-qualified buyer pays $3,500 or 40 cents a day. A modest additional balloon payment up front would more than wipe that out.
As Paul Harvey used to say, “And now you know … the rest of the story.” Cable news doesn’t go into this amount of detail unless they have a pet project to prove.

Seems there is a new MAGA touter in the mix. Good one to avoid. Like Buttercup, the less attention paid, the less vitriol one endures.

With cable news and social media today, if it wasn’t for misinformation, we’d have no information at all.
