DeSantis makes Mike Tuppence look courageous. Of course, he’s supposed to be Catholic and to avoid such people, but hey, that’s politics. How many mortal sins does he ignore?

See today’s Luann Again. The treatment Trump has to deal with regularly seems akin to the treatment Luann has to deal with from Brad. In short, Trump’s haters probably share Brad’s attitude.

It’s difficult to find a Republican who has badmouthed Trump in the past that isn’t “kissing the ring” (or other body part) now.

You can ALWAYS trust republicans to be steadfastly loyal to themselves.

New GOP motto: “If you can’t beat them, join them.” Just what people want in their leaders: sheepish devotion to a cult.

The reason DeSantis is buddy-buddy with Trump now is that Trump promised DeSantis a position in the New Order: Deputy Reich Führer for the Final Solution to the Immigrant Problem.

Actually, one still can see DeSantis’ nose. I think he’s found another place to put it. Guess he’s hoping for something good after the election.

Trump will turn on a dime. He can because he has no morality, no ethics, no integrity. He is, indeed, a *malignant narcissistic psychopath.

Meh, that’s politics…………I mean these two people are horrible products of the decaying value system of the 74,000,000, but………..that, ……………that’s politics. And I’m not saying politics is bad. We can find examples of this behavior………………………………….everywhere.

DeSantis is just another typical Republican/conservative who have betrayed themselves in only caring about saving their own skin. We’ve seen this in earnest since 2016 with Lindsey Graham, Marco Rubio, Ted Cruz and the wind-sock leader Chris Christie who so far this week is against tRump.

It would be tempting for someone who really wants the presidency to sign on as VP. Remember this is a 77 year old man who looks like a heart attack or stoke going somewhere to happen, who has the stress of multiple criminal indictments to deal with, and who is probably going to wind up convicted of at least a few of the 91 indictments creating the problem of jail time. He can pardon himself on the federal ones, but it would be interesting to have a president who can’t go to several states because he has an arrest warrant out for him there.

To top that, he is increasingly incoherent. At the rate he is going, he is not going to make it another five years being able to even appear to be aware and capable of doing the job. At that point, he can be removed from office by his cabinet. Those people who are willing to tell Trump that they are devoted to him are the ones most likely to stab him in the back as soon as the getting is good if it does them any good individually. The odds of Trump surviving the term if he is elected are slim, so there is a good chance his VP will wind up with the job

When you have no moral compass or any deeply held beliefs, it’s extremely easy to change “positions” on a dime – neither political entity (you really CAN’T refer to them as “men”, now can you?)

It is either dishonest or misinformed to equate the Republican and Democratic parties, as far as honesty goes. A person who runs for office has to choose. In reality, the choice will probably be for the party that will support them.. The Republicans vote and work for the rich, working on the notion that giving rich folks money will cause it to “trickle down” and improve the whole society. At least that’s what they say. I don’t think they really believe it themselves, and it has never worked anywhere it has been tried. And, the Democratic party represents the middle class, and votes that way in congress. Granted, they are not doing a terrific job, largely because the Republicans are working really hard to prevent them from doing any good, but they are at least trying. Both parties are going to choose to throw their ample support behind the candidate that at least says they agree with the goals that make up the party platform.

There are a lot more middle class voters than rich ones, so the Republicans can only win if they keep as many people from voting as possible and the rest confused enough to vote against their own best interests. That requires a lot of cheating and lying.

Consequently, the Democrats lie less and are more honorable than Republicans, because they can be. Not that that’s a very high bar.

Ah, come on! No bigger odd couple than Joe & Commala. They can’t stand each other, not surprising, I hate people that call me racist too. Republicans should be thankful Joe listen to Berry O and picked Cackler over Whitmer, her horrid performance is why old Joe is running for another term.
