MAGA GOPees are totally, unbelievably without an ounce of brains or morals! They would probably sell their parents, siblings, wife and children for a few extra dollars! But what good will money do them if Putin and his cronies take over the World?

Ukraine must be supported. It represents democracy. If one does not support democracy, Ukraine, then they show their true colors.

Let’s see. We’ve given $100 + billion, and now Biden is asking for $40 billion more? Reason – It’s such a large amount for 2 reasons…1) So he won’t have to request anymore between now and the next election and 2) He’s trying to attach it to the aid for Israel knowing many, if not most won’t object to that, so they’ll just go along with the whole thing. Speaker Johnson is right in breaking it up.

Defund the IRS, DOJ, and FBI because they are trying to treat everyone equally and the GOP hates equal anything. Acta Non Verba.

So, if I understand the GOP position it’s “we don’t want the rich to pay for the continued destruction of the Palestinian people”?

The Repubs have made this more ideological than it needs to be by trying to take funding from the IRS to give to Ukraine. Very typical mindset of theirs.

This morning’s “Letters from an American” by Heather Cox Richardson reports: “Here at home, the nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office (CBO) has scored the House Republicans’ bill to provide $14.3 billion in aid to Israel and to “offset” that spending with $14.3 billion in cuts to the Internal Revenue Service (IRS). As those of us who have followed the economics of adequately funding the IRS predicted, the CBO found that the cuts to the IRS would cost far more than they save. As it is currently constructed, the bill would add $26.8 billion to the national budget deficit.”

The Ukraine is a free country do we want to see it fall to a dictatorship? It’s more a covert war between the US and Russia. Or maybe a tug of war between Putin and Biden. IDK.

Putin’s puppet tells gop House “leadership” what to do. Thus, the desire to cut funding for the sovereign nation of Ukraine to repel it invader. Putin chose to invade. He was not provoked. Should he succeed, look for US troops to join NATO in fighting further aggression.

Americans spend more on snacks in a year than we’ve spent on Ukraine aid in the last 18 months. Polling shows that most Americans believe foreign aid should be reduced to 10% of the national budget—except that it’s currently below 1% of the budget. >

Putin wants to restore the USSR eventually. Ukraine is just his first step. Remember, Putin was already a proven war criminal before he invaded Ukraine: he helped his fellow war criminal, Assad, massacre more than half a million Syrians, mostly civilians. He should be tossed out a window—yesterday!

Trump is in awe of, and greatly admires the former head of the KGB/FSB.

Therefore, so do all Repubicans. Those who do not are RINOs and will leave the Party of Trump or be thrown out.

Ukraine’s problems are Ukraine’s problems. If we took all of the money that we gave to Ukraine to groups that help homeless veterans, think of how much better we would all be.
