It’s a six-person jury, so not a felony. Could be a misdemeanor in some states.

That will be next for Bankman-Fried. I might actually read Sam’s book if there is one.

Your opposition hates you and has determined that you are a threat to them. Now they will find a prosecutor who can find a crime to charge you with and a judge who will declare you guilty regardless of whether you have committed the crime you are charged with or not.

I certainly hope all the men who are depicted in these different comics aren’t Wiley self-portraits.

Hank: if they were found guilty, then they would swing quickly, instead of writing books and being on TV

And they say crime doesn’t pay. It doesn’t except to political and financial crims. They don’t seem to see a lot of deterioration in their portfolios.

Search “American Jurisprudence “. It’s a set of books frequently used as source material for crime shows.

You can’t profit from crime via book and movie rights unless you are a politician. If you do make a deal, all the profits will go to your victims.

How about the Murdaugh trial? Nobody said the court clerk couldn’t profit from the trial…even if she had to tweak the jury to get a good book ending.(Yeah. I know that he’s likely guilty but that doesn’t make jury tampering ok.)

Well, I see that the US Supreme Court has adopted its own code of ethics. Pardon my cynicism, but I suspect it’s because they’d rather have a toothless one of their own devising than whatever serious one Congress might have imposed on them.
