I think it’s likely three. The too-rich, the well to do and the poor or melanic. But it’s always been true here that anyone can get all the justice they can afford… it’s only within the last 100 years or so that a black person might have enough money to try to buy justice.
If Trairtor45 was treated like any other criminal defendant, according to defense attornies, he would already have been jailed for his comments against the DC judge and Jack Smith. But the MAGAt whinefest will contonue.
A local Richmond editorial writer, Michael Paul Williams, wrote about this months ago. Yes, there is a two-tiered system. As author John Grisham as said, it is easy to put an innocent man in prison, very hard to get him out; this is something that Black people know and white people do not.
There has been different systems of justice depending on how “respected” the individual was and how good his lawyer for as long as there have been human societies—long before this was even a country. It’s actually an improvement that it has occurred to someone that that’s not fair.
Ted Cruz once warned Trump would be a mob boss in office: Ex-Trump staffer
Once upon a time, before former President Donald Trump was elected, a large swathe of Republican officeholders were keen to sound the alarm about his potential to commit crimes in office. One of the loudest voices was Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX), then one of his key rivals for the GOP nomination — and now one of Trump’s staunchest defenders.Former Trump administration Homeland Security staffer Miles Taylor, author of the anonymous New York Times op-ed on an internal Trump “resistance” and “Blowback: A Warning to Save Democracy from the Next Trump,” highlighted the stark contrast on MSNBC Wednesday.
Similarly, white straight people in America are so spoiled and entitled that they think not having their bigotry celebrated is persecution.
Someone very religious I am related to was complaining about the persecution he faced for following “biblical values” and not wanting to serve LGBT. I asked him if he has ever been chased down the street and beaten by men yelling “Christian”. I have been beaten by men yelling “f@gg@t”. He (and people like him) are whiny snowflakes that have no idea what persecution really is.
Somehow or other I got onto a right-wing mailing list, and my inbox now gets at least half a dozen beggograms a day that have no content other than “IT’S ANOTHER WITCH HUNT” or “JUSTICE IN AMERICA IS DEAD” or “PRESIDENT TRUMP IS BEING PERSECUTED”. (They never refer to him as “ex-” or “former” president. And it’s always all caps, frequently highlighted in yellow.) There isn’t even the faintest hint of where the money would be going or what ideas it might be supporting. Indeed, no mention of ideas at all, let alone ones that might deal with actual, you know, governance of the country.

tRump just keeps digging his own hole. He just needs someone to fill it in with dirt after he jumps in.

Of course, those with Trump Disciple analysis skills don’t know the difference.

In the USA, money talks, and if it’s a large amount doing the talking, criminals go free.

Yeah, there’s a two tier justice system. There’s Trump and then there’s everybody else.

Let’s just start prosecuting him instead, then.

Yes, there is, or #45 would ALREADY be in prison, possibly several times over, if only for his repeated witness and jury intimidation.

Anytime someone says there’s a two-tier justice system, I commend them for admitting that Trump is getting preferential treatment.

I really like this one. Let’s dump the Trump crap and address the erosion of everything civil rights activists busted their butts on.
