I think we just saw Wheresmyscissors’ favorite line. Actually it’s one of mine also!

All classic cat behaviors! I’m sure “Time for breakfast! Good humans feed cats! Are you a good human…or else?” is next in the battle plan.

I just love when the BCN crew report that “someone” is doing or has done something. Remembering an early comic with Elvis reporting that “someone has thrown up in the peoples’ shoes”, and I just have no idea who that someone might have been, Elvis.

Time to leave the poor intruder alone for a few hours! Have mercy!

Update on injured local cat:

Fotis is still hanging in there, but he has been transferred to Veterinary Wellness Center for hyperbaric treatments prior to surgery. They still haven’t found the monster who caused his injuries.

Aaargh! Just this minute, I was counting out some pills, when Nigel flicked his tail and knocked the prescription container over. Of course, they had to be small white ones.

Or you could just settle down on her chest and stare at her for hours, Elvis.

My parents left our cat downstairs overnight to not have this problem. When we went visiting once and took the cat, however, I and my sister, I think, had to sleep in the lounge, the cat was shut in the kitchen, and the cat didn’t get through the door but boy she tried. And so we didn’t sleep, although we tried.

I just read Georgia’s post on Facebook. She is well on the mend and already planning a story line for the summer. Just like Cass Elliot says, It’s Getting Better Every Day

When I heard the news that I had to take a break

I kept hoping the doctors had made a mistake,

Georgia has gone back to drawing. She posted this yesterday:

I missed this so very much!! I got back to work last week, writing my first week of strips since the beginning of April!

I waited a week to post anything about it here in case I ran into any discomfort or complications and had to take more time. But thankfully, aside from a bit of expected tightness, so far so good! Best of all, no pain!

The first week of new dailies will run the week of 05/29! And the first new Sunday will be 06/25! And pretty soon after we’re going to be jumping into a story that I hope you’ll enjoy, which should bring us through the summer! (I’m hoping to have a fun illustration to tease it soon, hand-permitting!)

I’ve missed writing stories and jokes for you SO. MUCH! I’m so happy to be back at it, and I’m grateful for how supportive and kind everyone has been during this. I’m happy folks have been enjoying the re-runs, those have been fun for me to read as well! It’s been so long, there are a lot of little moments I forgot!

My last boss Pickles aka Ketzl was an attacker of feet thru the covers. You didn’t dare twitch a toe because she’d be all over it with ALL the pointy bits! Feet hanging out? No problem. Let her under the covers & she’d just curl up by your feet. But WOE UNTO YOU if there were covers between her & your feet!

Question: Is the intruder a family member or a friend?

She should know better than to move with cats around. Tsk tsk.

Love the gentle slapping of the tail. Sebastian used to do that when he was younger. I would just hold his tail gently.
