Seems the main advantage of producing a “slice of life” comic is that one doesn’t have to rack their brains coming up with a punchline or amusing conclusion.
So, as the years go by we get older, huh, Crazy? Boy, that’s the kind of deep observation that makes the geriatric ramblings at the Dale Evans booth sound like crackling repartee from the Algonquin Round Table! Can we please have the Sunday full panel shot of Boy J*ff sitting in the attic and reading his Spider-Man omnibus will eating Oreos off a plate, and then get back to those aforementioned ramblings?

Heck, the earliest comics I can recall reading new are “The Rainbow Doom” and “Superman in Superman Land”, both 1955.
