Or neither? Neither the top half nor the bottom half is half full or half empty. And the top half is 100% empty and the bottom half is 100% full (or all full – or aw-ful as some would say).

Fair observation on her part which makes her a realist….

If you fill an empty glass half way, it’s half full. If you drink a full glass to half, it’s half empty. Problem solved.

Then there’s the overly analytic. I’ll have to measure the amount of liquid and compare it to the amount of liquid the glass would hold to determine whether there less liquid then air. Did you fall asleep?

Aha. She’s a realist. Can’t argue her logic. Someone once said that pessimist is a word a cynic uses to describe a realist.
