Same problem with my laptop keyboard!!!

After flossing between the keys, he needs to brush up on his scales.

At one time in my life I was a piano technician/tuner. You wouldn’t believe some of the stuff I found beneath keys. The best: I could always tell if the instrument’s owner was a teacher because those little foil stars (lick to adhere; given for achievement) were accumulated there.

Yes, you can wash keyboards. I’ve heard you can even put them in the dishwasher. I’ve never done that, but I have rinsed them off in the sink. Make sure you take the batteries out. I can’t imagine how you would get a wired keyboard in the sink or dishwasher, but it should go without saying, disconnect it.

Shake it dry and position it so the water drains out. Then put it over the heating vent for several days. Make sure it is entirely dry before attaching it to power again.

Electronics can be subjected to water and survive, if there is now power to it. My company had to wash a bunch of computers that were full of mud after the caves they were in were flooded. I think we lost a couple of hard drives and floppy drives.

I eat all my meals and snacks at my computer desk. Gotta shake out the keyboard occasionally!

Well, to be fair, it is a stringed instrument.

The Cheeto dust might come out easier with a brush.
