Never tell anyone to smile unless you’re taking posed photograph.

Despite what some people love to say, it sometimes does cost you a few things, such as self-respect, dignity, and a sense of self-worth. People should only smile when they actually want to.

… also watching the news, and late night shows. All are having a negative effect on life.

Smile so everyone will wonder what you’re up to

There is plenty to smile about. Don’t let the news distract you from it.

For once, Pig is the insensitive one in this strip. Anyone who thinks “Smile! It costs nothing,” is an OK thing to say is clearly not considering how anyone else feels. Such people should be punched in the solar plexus and then asked why they aren’t smiling.

I have stopped watching MSNBC/CNN all day. Especially now when it seems Democrats have no chance to win any seat or office. (Seems to be the agenda before every election.) I watch a couple programs in the evening. (I agree. I enjoyed the execution of the search warrant and the utter hypocrisy screamed by the magas. As Trey says, these people have no sense of irony.)

So, is that a standard @#%£ ton or a metric @#%£ ton? XD

He’s right. I’ve put myself on a need-to-know basis vis a vis the state of the world, and it’s helped my mental health.

Ignorance is bliss. Corrupt Press. Said the same thing in 1918 Russia. That turned out good. 20-60 million (estimates vary) Russians killed by their own government. Don’t think it can’t happen here. Stay informed……

Reading the news costs a lot. On a device, that device needs power, which needs electricity, which costs money. A paper itself costs money. Smiling is free, so stop reading the news and smile.

I keep up with the local news because it affects me. National and international news, not so much. I stay aware enough for voting, but that’s it. I am much happier that way.

It would be nice if Trump’s legal team were to release the text of the search warrant. Those things are pretty detailed and focussed. (The real question is, why the urgency? Apart from the fact that, contrary to his representations, Trump has been stalling for 18 months.)
