Well, I guess there must be one universe where George Clooney is seriously uncool and his acting carreer basically failed. But getting the girl might be a stretch.

What’s the point of infinite universes if you can’t have everything you want?

You don’t get no respect, either.

Verne was played by the late Garry Shandling in the first movie.

It’s supposed to be a device-free converastion, and they’re talking about something most people will be viewing on a device.

I do not understand using famous people to voice animated characters. Voice actors would do a much better job and give the characters their own sound.

Sadly, an Over the Hedge sequel isn’t likely. For one: their rights to the characters have long expired, it’s been too long for a follow up, and besides, Katzenberg said in 2010 that if the sequel didn’t perform well as the first one, it could cost Dreamworks money, unless it was bought by a major company (which it eventually was in 2016).

Certainly not consistent with the concept of Infinity…

Does anyone know if this comic commented on the movie when it first came out?

How’d I miss the first over the hedge film? When was it, who was in it?

I’d keep most of the cast from the first film (esp. Allison Janney), but I’d cast Jason Bateman as RJ, and Patton Oswalt as Verne

OTH #1 is one of my favorite movies; so sorry Bruce Willis is losing his ability to communicate and Gary Shandling is dead. [It’s so weird how George Clooney became the main take away from this panel]
