I have not even seen a 7-11 in 20 years. Never saw one in San Antonio Texas(lived there from May 2003 to Aug 2017), and so far(moved here in Aug 2017) haven’t seen one in Eastern Oklahoma
I remember the first 7-11 I saw. It opened in our community when I was maybe 10 years old. My dad explained that their name was because they were open from 7 am to 11pm – longer than other stores are. (Long before they went to 24 hours obviously – and the reason they have locks on their doors.)

They’d sell a lot more slushies if there was wine in the machine

I went to 7-11 at 7:11 am one year and bought a lottery ticket. Most I ever won – $10. Not a regular player, though.

I live in Wawa country (New Jersey). 7-11’s in this area are disappearing, losing out to the far superior company.

I’m here scratching my head over this; I live in Pennsylvania, where convenience stores don’t sell alcohol

We have a fast food place (Spangles) that serves mixed drinks (as in, liquor). None at the drive-thru, however.
