Happy Independence Day to all the U.S. readers here (which is most of you). We didn’t get a special “time out for the 4th of July” this year, but I don’t think we needed it. It’s best not to interrupt the momentum that is just getting going.

That last panel practically screams “curses foiled again”. Whatever diabolical plan Guvador was brewing will need to be modified if he expects to get the Moongirls into his one-way ticket lair. Isn’t Diet the one who has the anti Moon zap ring in safe keeping ?

Yesterday, Sunday, Tracy says he has some questions. Today, Monday, the Moon Governor/Ambassador says he has answered them. I guess the questions & answers weren’t important enough for us readers to know.

I have a feeling he will try to imprison them on the dark side of the Moon as that is where the Moon Ambassador said he had just been. Tracy is right to fear another double cross.

OFF TOPIC: I may be in trouble. The current book project just passed 100,000 words and I really need to end it, but it keeps unfolding new sub-plots which actually interrelate.

Tracy has a good point. Telepathy is a one way street which gives the Ambassador the advantage.

The Moon Ambassador looks annoyed that this “history” Tracy brought up got thrown in his face. What did he expect, for Tracy to “clear memory” and not forget?

Your turn Moon Ambassador to give some reassurances. A thought came to me…how did he get to Tracy’s house? Was it via an uber driver?

That would be because, Mr. Ambassador, you are one untrustworthy individual.

So wait… the moon has an atmosphere?

Lay down the law Tracy…and take a few reinforcements.

I don’t trust him. Tracy should shoot him..

In Harm’s Way!

Tracy has correctly called out Ambassador’s duplicity, but his response (“I go too!”) is fraught with danger. It might have been safer to put off granting permission, from Junior for Honeymoon (not sure if anyone could legally restrict Mysta, but Tracy or even Diet Smith could certainly try to persuade her to hold off); at least until some more reliable secure arrangement could be made. Ambassador (ex-Moon Gov) cannot be trusted, especially if there is even a suspicion that he intends punching One-Way Tickets for Honeymoon and Mysta. Tracy going along is helpful only insofar as Ambassador doesn’t turn on him and “melt his toy,” or whatever….

That bit of history is one I didn’t know about. Red flags are going up all over the place for Tracy. I still wonder what the Moon Ambassador to Earth (presumably) really wants.

Why would he be worried about Tracy’s firearm if he could melt it?

If he’s the Moon Ambassador to Earth, why does he come to the Tracy Residence under a cloak of some secrecy having not contacted the government leaders of the Earth first?

If he means foul, why not kidnap whoever he wants to abscond with and render Tracy a pile of greasy electro-cooked meat? Why play nice?

Why Mysta? Other than her genetic manipulation, she’s not really a moon person. I would figure Honeymoon would be the only real interest for him?

It’s a good story so far to raise so many questions.

I’d call him “The Great Stone Face”,except Buster Keaton already has that one.
